Now Accepting Submissions for the 2018 Community Involvement Projects

Jan 22 2018

Skills Ontario is thrilled to announce the return of the Community Involvement Projects. Skills Ontario Community Involvement Projects encourage young people to enhance their local communities, while developing important skills for their future. Once again, there are three project categories for secondary students: Construction, sponsored by Milwaukee; Landscaping, sponsored by Permacon; and Manufacturing, sponsored by Miller.

These projects are an excellent opportunity for students to make their communities a more inclusive place for everyone. In 2017, Skills Ontario received submissions from bike rack and bee garden projects, to Habitat for Humanity partnerships, and beyond! Click here to see last year’s winners.

Tell us how your school is making a difference in your community! Click on each category below for full details.
