The Canadian Society of Safety Engineering is pleased to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the 2015 OHSE Bursary Program.
The program will be offering bursaries up to a maximum of $500.00 in support of students who have successfully registered in a 1, 2 or 3 year OHSE program (full-time or part-time) at the undergraduate level at an accredited university or college in Canada.
As part of our ongoing objective to support people who have chosen to pursue a career in Occupational Health and Safety, we are pleased to award this bursary.
CSSE initiated the bursary program with the following aims:
- To promote and further the education of Canadian college and university students attending programs in the field of Occupational Health and Safety;
- To establish and encourage the highest standards among those preparing to enter the Occupational Health and Safety profession;
- To provide an incentive for college and university students to commit themselves to their education as well as to their communities and families;
- To broaden the attraction of the Occupational Health and Safety profession to a wide variety of students in various socio-economic circumstances.
