Fanshawe College continues to offer tuition-free programs, funded by the Government of Ontario, to provide students the opportunity to properly prepare for apprenticeships.

Cook Pre-Apprenticeship Training

Fanshawe’s Cook Pre-Apprenticeship Training program, offered through its Simcoe Campus, is slated to begin in June 2017. This tuition-free program combines classroom learning and working in a local restaurant. Full-time, 40 weeks.

Parts Technician Pre-Apprenticeship

Fanshawe’s Parts Technician Pre-Apprenticeship program is slated to begin July 3, 2017. This tuition-free program aims to prepare students for work in the motive power industry through hands-on learning labs and a work term opportunity. Full-time, 38 weeks.
