This National Volunteer Week, we would like to recognize the invaluable work of all our volunteers!

Skills Ontario has a dedicated team of over 1,000 volunteers. Our volunteers are generous with their time, energy, and experience. They are an integral part of all we accomplish, and without them, the quality of our programs would not be what they are.

Volunteers help with everything from organizing and judging contests at the Skills Ontario Competition, to mentoring young women at our Career Exploration Events, to facilitating workshops at our Skills Ontario Summer Camps – and a variety of jobs in between!

A number of our volunteers take time from their jobs with colleges and industry partners to give their expertise to students participating in Skills Ontario programs and competitions. Volunteers play a crucial role in building Ontario’s future skilled trade and technology workforce by helping connect education, experience, and employment for students and fostering an environment that values skilled workers.

The commitment of Skills Ontario volunteers in supporting the next generation of skilled trades and technologies professionals is highly valued and recognized.
